The Time Machine is a node that can be used to teleport to time dimensions. Upon crafting it, a time machine is called "Inactive Time Machine." Once placed down, the inactive time machine can be right clicked by certain items to activate it and set it to a particular . Jungle grass sets it to the Dinosaur Age, snow sets it to the Ice Age, a dead shrub sets it to Prehistoric Australia, and a coral skeletion sets it to the Water Age. Upon activating a time machine, the player is given one green mese block that, if placed in another time period, can send the player back to the present. If the time machine is one end of the portal, the green mese is the other end. Once the time machine is activated, you can right click it (or mesecon activate it) to teleport to a , and once there, right click (or mesecon activate) the green mese to return to the present. To deactive a time machine, mine it and place it again. Time machines have protection support (untested) and can be used with mesecons (if active).
