As Forgejo is the community governed fork of Gitea (supported and used by Codeberg) it should be relevant to move to Forgejo images going forward.

Since this Gitea version currently is v1.21.5 corresponding Forgejo images can still be used as a drop-in replacement.

Bear in mind that v1.21.5 is the last version of the Forgejo soft fork where drop-in images can be used, after which Forgejo is a hard fork of Gitea and thus compatibility is not guaranteed.
