then we will just need the code and model to map it on then make extras for the coloured ones in a mask form from it
it will help to decrease the size of the texture
also were you referring to making the textures more of a map of like the Minecraft one but using Mineclone 2's textures

yeah to make a override work in a texture pack you need to create an override.txt inside of the texture pack
I did it for the campfire smoke and cherry blossom textures
I remember that the heads also had some issues for the bottom textures too at some point
also for texture size we can just optimize it shrinking it's file size
I find that using a mask texture can be a lazy way of doing it sometimes
yeah I had to use an override system in my texture pack for the signs
or I could make an end rod texture for the uv map and
there could be another way by overriding the texture's in the texture pack but idk
