Needs engine change for proper ropes, but the workaround method in this animalia mod should be considered if the performance impact of this workaround method is minimal.

From what I was told, the lasso uses ABM's and is not well coded. We won't be adding this. Once line rendering gets added into mineclone, we can consider that, but until that, we have a burger for villagers.

I thought fox was only in mcl5. We probably need to consider migrating it across at some point. Frog will probably need model and art.

There is a mod which could maybe provide this functionality: https://content.minetest.net/packages/SilverSandstone/leads/

I used it as a separate mod in Mineclonia, works fine. Should work in MineClone 2, too.

frog model is complete and basic code too , all it needs to be animated..

Oh nice. Any chance you could create a PR to https://git.minetest.land/MineClone2/voxelgoodenough for the model.

I don't know if it's getting to the point we need a models folder or not, but at least the blend file will be somewhere that others can check out and add animations to.

Right now at this moment I will be making all models of mobs that existed in 1.19 wild update at my git page, and yes I will create a PR which add the .blend of these models but only after the whole update is ready.

yes, you can check it at my git page of wild update for that, all codes, textures, model and tadpole is ready, only frog model animation and few tweaks in code for frog are to be made. But I am yet not currently working on those because I am pretty busy in sculk sensor logic, sculk shrieker logic, warden model and warden emerging mechanism.
