Delete Branch "hotfix_process_document"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Documented the hotfix release process. I will do this usually, but I have documented in case I am unavailable.
There are more steps to this than the standard release, but this is needed to ensure that only critical fixes are released on top of last release and no new features.
Hotfixes aren't fun, but they are best for stability. The less of these we do, the better.
If many hotfixes are needed, there may be an argument that a fresh release is needed, but that represents extra risk and should only be taken as if hotfix is unfeasible.
Available for review and any comments.
Followed the process, and checked it with create new release in the ContentDB. Works.
Looked up the git commands, to follow along, and works...
Approving.
