I assume the problem is that void blocks are generated over the nether roof, which cannot be built over.

It should be possible to tweak the world generation to not generate void blocks above the nether roof for a certain height to create some buildable space like in Minecraft Java edition (this is not supported in Bedrock edition of Minecraft). But that might cause existing worlds to become inconsistent where void blocks have already been generated in some areas. Maybe it would be possible to make the game automatically remove void blocks which are at this height for existing worlds. In the README it also explicitly states that Mineclone2 does not support backwards-compability:

Backwards-compability is not guaranteed, updating your world might cause small and big bugs (such as “missing node” errors or even crashes).

So if this is added. I think we can and should ignore that problem.

I don't have a clear opinion for or against allowing this. If you manage to find a way to get to the nether roof, then I guess it is cool to be able to do something there.
